Dudek completes Madrid move.

Liverpool’s Champions League penalty shoot-out hero Jerzy Dudek has signed a two-year deal with Spanish champions Real Madrid.

The 34-year-old Poland international was released by Liverpool at the end of last season after failing to dislodge Pepe Reina from the first-choice spot at Anfield.

He will be the reserve keeper at Real, behind Spain international number one stopper Iker Casillas.

After Dudek’s Real medical, Dr. Del Corral told Real Madrid's website: "He is 34 but he is as fit as a young player. He is a true athlete."

Dudek joined Liverpool from Dutch club Feyenoord for nearly £5 million in 2001, but his relationship with coach Rafael Benitez has became strained over the last season.

New sigining......

Real Madrids new signings.............................................

Christoph Metzelder (Borussia Dortmund) :

Intelligent Defender. the German is an upcoming star. I think that's a good sign by Real Madrid. He will help to make Real Madrid defense more strong.

Kleper Pepe (FC Porto)

This is a sudden signing from FC Porto. But might be a good one. He could be a defending wall for Real Madrid.

Javier Saviola (FC Barcelona)

Nothing to say about it. Best signing for Real Madrid untill now. And more important is that he is signed from FC Barcelona.

Jerzy Dudek (Liverpool)

The veteral Polish keeper is new backup keeper for Real Madrid. He is in the place of Diego lopez who recently being transferred to another Spanish club. He is a good goalkeeper and I think that's also a good signing.
