REAL Madrid has reportedly agreeed to a swap deal with Inter Milan - Ronaldo for fellow Brazil striker Adriano.
"Real Madrid and Inter have already agreed terms," the internet site of a local radion station reported overnight.
Ronaldo, whose contract runs until June 2008 and has a net annual salary of 7.5 million euros ($12.6 million), is set to be back in action in several weeks after an operation on his left tibia following the World Cup finals.
Also, according to the report, Real may land Arsenal's Spanish international winger, Jose Antonio Reyes, who stunned the English Premier League club by saying he is homesick and never wants to play in England again, in exchange for out-of-favour Brazil attacking midfield player Julio Baptista.
Such a swop would cost Real an extra 3 million euros ($5 million) for Reyes.
Both Ronaldo and Baptista, 24, have said they do not want to leave Real despite going through rough patches at the club.
Baptista score just eight goals in 32 matches last term after his 24 million euros ($40 million) transfer from Sevilla, where he'd scored 38 times in two seasons.
Ronaldo, 29, is known to be upset at being booed for a large part of last season as Real finished trophyless again.

I am surprised to see this because as I know Real Madrid wanted to keep him as well as Ronaldo also don't want to leave Real madrid. Ronaldo is one of the best striker of the World and I think better than Adriano. Adriano is also very good and top class striker but I think Ronaldo is better. So I think it will not be a good deal if they done so.
