Osasuna fined after player hit with lighter.

Osasuna was fined 3,000 euros (C$4,380) after Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas was struck on the head with a lighter thrown from the crowd at a recent Spanish league game.

The Spanish soccer federation also warned Osasuna that its Reyno de Navarra stadium would be closed if there was a repetition, news reports said Wednesday.

Casillas was hit on Sunday as he collected the ball from behind the goal in the 43rd minute of Madrid's 4-1 victory.
